AGPS views processors as a bounded resource and optimises the use of that resource by dynamically varying the number of processors that it uses during execution, adapting to the external demand for those processors. AGPS also attempts to optimize the use of available processors by automatically terminating a genetic programming run when it appears to have stalled in a local minimum so that another run can begin.",
